About Ms. McLaughlin, Media Specialist

 

My name is Whitney McLaughlin, and I am so excited to be the Library Media Specialist this year at EVMS. This will be my 8th year teaching at EVMS, having taught 6th & 8th grade Communication Arts before moving to the library last year. I grew up in Helena, and I attended Carroll College to earn a Bachelor's in English Education. I then earned my Masters in Curriculum & Instruction with a library media endorsement from MSU. I also earned my Masters in Educational Leadership from WGU. I truly believe in being a lifelong learner!

 

In my spare time I love to read (obviously!), garden, spend time at the lake, play card games of any kind, and spend time with my family and friends. I consider myself extremely lucky to work at EVMS and in the East Helena community!
